Yesterday's meeting had about a dozen lunchers. Many are still on holidays, one car broke down on the way from D.C., one was prevented from coming by one of those handymen who never turn up.These pictures came curtsy of Marian from her recent trip. This is a statue of Physicist Niels Bohr (7 October 1885 – 18 November 1962) who was a Danish physicist who made fundamental contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum mechanics, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922.
I had to look it up on Wikipedia. That's how far my knowledge in physics goes.
